Volunteering as a Human Guide

So one thing I never announced was that I recently started doing volunteer work as a human guide. Human guides work with those who are visually impaired (have poor eyesight or are completely blind). This is the one volunteer program that actually gives me life!!! Like literally!  Do you understand that in any minute, you could lose your sight and never see the faces of friends and family? Would you be strong enough to be an adventurer in a world you cannot see? Would you continue to live your life and walk in faith? Or would you hide away in your home? What would you do? How would you cope?
